Quick Look at the Skitarii Codex.

The Skitarii codex is out now, and love it or leave it, I think this codex will make a big impact on the game itself. While in reality its a small codex, it has several strong units that will fit into just quite a few different armies as allies. What I don't see, although I think its quite possible to do, (despite internet first reactions) is the ability to field it as a stand alone army. This codex was obviously meant to be an allied force.

Space Marines Rumors

Space Marines are still rumored to get a codex later this year, and we have heard misc talk of Ravenguard, White Scars. Steve the Warboss pegged Space Marines as an August release, and Lords of Wargaming has said they are coming. So this rumor states the release will be a rather minor one, and by the looks of it, could be handled with a 2 week release. One box kit, a new Chaplin, and codex. Take a look at the latest.

New Brushes Coming to a GW Store Near You

A few reports have come in that Games Workshop is redoing its entire brush range. This is apparently happening soon, as stores are being told to "hold" on ordering new brushes. I did see that there are only two brushes currently on the GW US webstore, but as often as I check for brushes there, it could of always been like that.

Altansar are the 5th Craftworld for Eternal Crusade

Today Eternal Crusade announced a new Eldar Craftworld that was based upon the communities voting and interest, and the winner was Altansar. I can't say that I am disappointed in Altansar, its a good choice. This takes Eldar up to 5 different craftworlds to be represented in the game.

Onager Dunecrawler and Plasma Obliterator Pre-Orders are Live!

Today and this weekend Codex: Skitarii hit the shelves, and with it are pre-orders for the Onager Dunecrawler and some new terrain fortification pieces. The Onager really is in my personal opinion the crowning piece of the Skitarii codex, and with it many people will be taking small forces of Skitarii as allies to get this walker.
